Fowl Mood Racing Rebounds From a Tough Couple Weeks With Sixth Place Finish at Brighton Speedway on Saturday Night

The 2013 racing season has been a tough one for Phil Potts and the Fowl Mood Racing team. The first win of the season as eluded them so far, and the team has been working hard to get back to the championship form that they have displayed the last few seasons.

On Saturday night at Brighton Speedway, Potts began the night with a fifth place finish in his qualifying heat race, maintaining his fifth place starting position throughout the race. He lined up on the front row for the main event, and battled to a sixth place finish by the end of the caution-free event.

“We have working hard getting our program turned around for this season”, says Potts after the race at Brighton. “It has been a tough season, but we will continue to work hard as a team to get back on track".

In an effort to get the Fowl Mood Late Model team back on track, team owner Stu Archer has sold the Canadian Modified, allowing the team to focus solely on the Late Model. They will be back at Brighton Speedway this Saturday night looking to capture their first win of 2013.

Fowl Mood Racing would not be possible without the support of our sponsors. We would like to thank Hutchinson Fuels, Indewey Excavating, Vanderlaan Building Supplies, Bill’s Johns, Gord’s Water Service and Brighton Recycling Inc. for all their support throughout the 2012 season, and we look forward to another great season in 2013.
