Fowl Mood Racing Set for Busy Week With World of Outlaw Late Model Events and Go Nuclear! Late Model Challenge Series Races

This is the week that everyone has been anticipating since the schedule was released at the beginning of the year. Phil Potts and the Fowl Mood Racing team will be busy with four consecutive nights of racing starting with the much-anticipated World of Outlaw Late Model Series inaugural event at their hometown Brighton Speedway on Thursday night. The following nights will be Go Nuclear! Late Model Challenge Series races at Mohawk International Raceway on Friday night and Brockville Speedway on Saturday. Sunday night the team will be at Cornwall Speedway for their World of Outlaw Late Model action.

With the World of Outlaws at Brighton Speedway, Phil Potts and the Fowl Mood Racing team will be looking for some home track advantage, taking on some of the biggest stars of Late Model racing in North America. All of the top names from the series will be in attendance, and Potts is looking to have the upper hand with his experience at Brighton Speedway.

“It always fun racing against the Outlaws”, says Potts. “We have raced before at other tracks, but this time is different. We are right here in our own back yard on a track that we race on each week. Hopefully we will have an advantage and be able to post a great finish. I know everyone is really looking forward to Thursday night”.

Fowl Mood Racing owner Stu Archer will not be behind the wheel of his Canadian Modified on Thursday night, as his son will be graduating into High School. Accomplished Brighton Speedway racer Ron Wadforth will the reigns of the Fowl Mood Canadian Modified for Thursday night’s events.

The Go Nuclear! Series also resumes this weekend with events at Mohawk International Raceway and Brockville Speedway on Friday night and Saturday night. Potts finished third at Can Am in his first start of the season in the Go Nuclear North Division last month.
